Regina Brandow began her professional career at J.P. Morgan & Company after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Dowling College. While serving in various departments of that prestigious global financial institution, she attended Touro School of Law, graduating in 1995. Thereafter, she was admitted to the State of New York Second Department and the U.S. Court of Appeals Second Department.

 

Her first position as an attorney was in an insurance fraud and consumer reporting agency.  She subsequently moved into private practice and then to the Long Island Advocacy Center before founding BrandowLaw.

 

BrandowLaw is devoted to working with clients on an individualized basis. The practice is concentrated on Special Needs Trusts, Guardianships and Supplemental Needs Trusts for persons with Disabilities.  It further includes Estate Planning, Elder Law and Real Estate.

 

Ms. Brandow is a certified hearing officer with the New York State Department of Education and an active member of the Surrogate Court Decision Making Committee. She also serves various organizations and boards including Nassau/Suffolk Law Services Advisory Council, and is a member of the American Bar Association, New York Suffolk Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, Group Legal Services Association, and NAELA.

 

A lifelong Long Island resident, Regina has received multiple awards and recognition for her pro bono efforts.

 

Regina has her certification with the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities in Benefits and Entitlements.  She also recently graduated from Stony Brook University with a post-graduate certificate in Health Care, Finance and Management.
