Wendy brings more than 25 years of experience as an advocate for special needs children and adults.  She is retired from state service as an Associate Attorney with Mental Hygiene Legal Service (MHLS), where she worked in four field offices throughout Suffolk County.

Wendy served on the Democratic Committee and ran for NYS Assembly in 1993, and volunteers every fall for various local and national candidates.  She has been a member of Pachamama Alliance since 2004 -- an organization founded to protect the Amazon rainforests.  Additionally, she collects clothing donations for the homeless and less fortunate.

Wendy earned B.S. degrees in both Sociology and German at Stony Brook University, and she earned her J.D. from New York Law School.  She enjoys training and riding her mammoth jack donkey, as well as training and showing her dogs in obedience competitions.
